Thousands braved the rain and mud to enjoy another spectacular Nantwich Show at Dorfold Park.
And as these pictures show, the weather did not put people off taking in the wide array of events, exhibitions and marquees on offer.
Held on a 45-acre site, Nantwich Show is now the UK’s largest one-day agricultural show which is celebrating its 120th anniversary.
This year, it included 450+ trade stands and scores of animal displays including cattle, horses, sheep, poultry, pigeons and dogs.
There were ring displays and demonstrations of vintage cars, tractors, commercials and machinery.
There was live music and a motorcycle and quad stunt show and an afternoon parade in the Main Ring. And funfair rides to keep the younger ones entertained.
There were plenty of refreshments on offer so visitors could re-fuel, including public catering, licensed bars, and children’s entertainment.
There was live music on offer at the Redshift Radio stage, showcasing local talent like Jonathan Tarplee and Tim Lee.
Many local businesses also held stands so they could share with visitors what they do.
The event would not be the same without the International Cheese Awards – the largest cheese show in the world.
It showcased more than 4,500 entries of every type of cheese, with something to suit everyone’s taste.
Local cheese producers including Joseph Heler, at Hatherton, and Belton Farm near Whitchurch scooped medals and trophies in a range of categories.
And Audlem-based Nemi Milk won Gold in the ‘Drinks with Health Benefits’ category.
Visitors also enjoyed watching live cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs including James Martin, Will Holland and Sean Wilson.
Despite the morning rain, the sun came out in the afternoon to warm up proceedings.
Organisers, volunteers, exhibitors and many others staged another successful Nantwich Show which is one of the highlights of the summer calendar – come rain or shine!
