Superheroes took over at Dorfold Hall in Nantwich for a special day out which raised a staggering £10,000.
More than 1,000 people flocked to the Superheroes Picnic in aid of The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice and Ray of Hope.
The event was opened by the Mayor of Cheshire East and Nantwich Cllr Arthur Moran.
Activities on the day included a Superhero Training Academy, Bentley and supercar display, giant inflatables, raffle, tombola, auction, climbing wall, face painting and more.
Real life superheroes from Cheshire Police and Cheshire Fire Services also made an appearance.
More than 50 generous volunteers gave up time to help make the Superheroes Picnic.
There was an overwhelming response from all who attended, with more than £10,000 raised on the day for The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.
Victoria Graham and Lauren Tudor, who helped organise the event, said: “We were overwhelmed by the number of people that came to support it.
“Spirits were high and we hope everyone enjoyed a day out to remember with their families.
“We are so pleased we reached our target goal of £10,000 for Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.”
