Nantwich heavyweight Nathan Gorman made it 10 and 0 in professional fights after he demolished another opponent in Blackpool.

The 21-year-old is now eyeing an English Title bout in October against Nick Webb.

Gorman, who fights out of the Ricky Hatton camp, is catching the eye and has moved up to 6th in the UK heavyweight rankings.

Only the big names of Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte, David Haye, Dereck Chisora, and David Price are ahead of him.

In Blackpool last night, Gorman defeated his opponent Antonio Sousa in five rounds.

Afterwards, he told Nantwichnews: “It was a good five rounds even though it was scheduled for eight against a tough durable opponent.

“But I knew when the body shot landed he wasn’t getting up from it.

“The next fight is October in the Leeds Arena against Nick Webb for the English title.

“I’m really confident and looking forward to it.”

However, 6ft 5in Webb, aged 29, will be a tough prospect.

Currently ranked eighth, he is also unbeaten on 11-0, with nine knockouts.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
