A Wimbledon themed charity tennis tournament takes place at Wistaston Jubilee Tennis Club this Sunday, writes Jonathan White.
The Club’s two courts are located behind the Wistaston Memorial Hall & Community Centre on Church Lane in Wistaston.
Members of the public are invited to support and watch the event on July 16 from 10am to 1pm.
There will also be a prize raffle to win a hamper (tickets £1).
All proceeds will go to the Wimbledon Foundation.
The Foundation is the charitable arm of the AELTC (All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club) and The Championships.
