Summer Fair 2017-Woodland-SCFR

Stapeley Grange RSPCA wildlife centre in Nantwich will hold its biggest fundraising event of this year tomorrow (July 2).

The London Road centre’s Summer Fair will take place from 10am to 4pm.

Activities on the day will include a dog show and competition, a ferret show and racing, plenty of stalls, childrens crafts and fun activities, archery, bouncy castles, tombola, a raffle, lots of food and entertainment with The Cat radio station.

Visitors will also have the chance to get their dogs and ferrets micro-chipped.

Gardening and cooking fans are also being asked to contribute to the plant and cake stalls to help raise as much money as possible for the cattery and wildlife centre.

Lee Stewart, manager at RSPCA Stapeley Grange, said: “The Summer Fair is one of the biggest events on our calendar and a lot of planning and hard work has gone into it to make it a really special day.

“Last year we had hundreds of people come along, so it was a huge success – and we hope it will be the same this year, even if there is rain on the day, although at the moment the forecast is looking good!

“We are hoping that the people of Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire will support us once again and will have a great day out with the family, as well as doing their bit to help animals in need.

“We look after thousands of animals every year and every penny that is raised at the fair will help us to continue this hard work.”

Entry for the event is £2 for adults and £1 for OAPs and children. Children under five enter for free.

The cattery and wildlife garden will be open to the public and dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
