South Cheshire homes provider Wulvern Housing Ltd has become part of The Guinness Partnership Ltd following a legal merger.
Wulvern’s 5,500 homes, including a number of extra care schemes across Cheshire and Staffordshire, have transferred to Guinness.
This takes the number of homes owned and managed by Guinness to 65,500.
Wulvern’s 200 staff are now employed by Guinness.
The same employees will be delivering services in homes and neighbourhoods as well as from Wulvern’s office on Crewe Business Park.
Members of the executive team have taken up new roles in Guinness.
Sue Lock, chief executive, is now director of strategy and policy for older people.
Nicole Kershaw becomes director of customer experience, and Kevin Williams becomes director of asset strategy.
On the day of the merger, new customer Monika Hala was the first person to sign up on a Guinness tenancy agreement at the local office on Electra Way.

Three Wulvern Board members – Amanda Calvert, Phil Morgan and Bob Tarry – have joined Guinness Boards.
Wulvern was created in 2003 through a stock transfer from Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council.
