Promoters - Nantwich Civic comedy night

‘The Very Best In Stand Up’ returns to Nantwich Civic Hall on Friday February 3 – kicking off a new year of live comedy.

Promoters are promising comedy fans that an array of rising talent will be performing at Nantwich Civic Hall during 2017.

The monthly shows have attracted some big stars in the past, from popular shows such as ‘Mock The Week’, ‘Live At The Apollo’ and ‘McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’.

And 2017 is set to be no exception with new faces, circuit veterans, established TV names and rising stars all lined up to perform.

February’s show features Canadian star Glenn Wool.

Sharply observant and intelligent, Glenn’s comedy stands out on its own.

Two acts making their debuts in Nantwich next month are Stephen Grant and Rhys James.

Multi-award winning comedian Grant is a veteran of the UK comedy scene and is in so much demand in the south he rarely heads north.

James is carving out a reputation for himself on numerous TV shows, and twitter.

Compere for the evening is likeable everyman Phil Walker.

The former ‘City Life Comedian of the Year’ winner is in good company with previous winners Peter Kay and Steve Coogan.

As well as playing the top clubs in the UK, Phil has entertained more than 4,000 troops on two tours of Afghanistan.

The show takes place on Friday February 3 and tickets are priced £10.

They are available from Nantwich Civic Hall direct or from the SeeTickets link on www.civiccomedy.co.uk

A limited number of table reservations are available for the show to groups of six or more on a first come, first basis.

Doors open at 7.15pm and the show starts at 8.15pm.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
