Only one game survived the weather in the Crewe Regional Sunday League latest round of fixtures.

Heavy rain all weekend led many local pitches waterlogged around Crewe and Nantwich, with 10 of the 11 scheduled games postponed.

In League One, Nantwich team Barrel and Tap took advantage with a thumping 7-3 victory over the Cricketer’s Arms.

Rhys Potter scored four times and Sean Owen added a brace.

Louis Everall scored Barrel’s seventh, with Cricketers grabbing consolation goals through Jack Moran (2) and Tom Bate.

The win moves Barrel up to eighth spot in League One above Talbot, and two places behind Cricketers.

Railway Hotel continue to lead the Premier League, five points clear of AFC Leopard.

There is a four-way tie at the top of League One, with Faddiley, Betley, Bank Corner and Elworth Park all on 32 points.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
