JG Creative in Nantwich has won the FSB Micro Business Award.

The design and branding agency, on Beam Heath Way, beat scores of other businesses with 10 or fewer employees to the prestigious award.

Entrants have to demonstrate increased sales in the past 12 months, deliver high quality customer service, identify new opportunities and show commitment to employees.

The FSB Merseyside, West Cheshire & Wigan Business Awards celebrate and reward exceptional small businesses from across the region.

JG Creative owner Jo Grubb said: “We were thrilled to find out we were shortlisted for both Best Creative & Media company and Best Micro Business.

“And to win Best Micro Business with such a long shortlist was unbelievable!

“We were up against seven other top businesses, and having been shortlisted for awards recently such as the South Cheshire Chamber Awards, and the Cheshire Business Awards, it was extra special to be taking this award home.

“This award win is recognition of all of the hard work and great things that we have achieved during 2016.

“Looking forward, 2017 is also set to be a great year for JG Creative, having just moved into new, bigger offices and with some fantastic projects coming up.

“We are excited to see what the future holds.”

JG Creative underwent a rigorous judging process, with judges looking for evidence of strategy and research, execution, creativity, originality and evaluation.

They met to discuss each entry, and a winner was announced at the awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool on December.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
