Coalville - new-signing-joe-mwasile-on-the-ball

Nantwich Town suffered their third straight defeat on the road after going down 3-1 at Coalville Town.

The hosts took an early lead through Jack McMillan’s free kick but the game was level at the break after Joe Mwasile’s neat finish.

However, the Ravens netted twice in the second half through Ryan Robbins and Messiah McDonald to take all three points.

Phil Parkinson made changes from last week’s FA Trophy loss with Sean Cooke and Josh Hancock missing through injury and suspension. Wayne Riley and Dave Walker came into the starting line up.

Coalville started the better and took the lead on five minutes as McMillan curled a free kick past Dave Parton from 25 yards after Jones fouled Robbins.

The Dabbers soon found their feet and Tim Sanders fired a free kick narrowly over the bar.

Theo Stair then did well to turn his man on the edge of the box but the forward’s following effort was high and wide of the goal.

Stair was then involved in the Dabbers equaliser on 18 minutes.

The former Hanley Town man played a perfect through ball to Mwasile who calmly rolled the ball under Coalville keeper Sean Bowles’ legs.

Soon after, Mwasile was causing problems again down the left and the winger nearly gave Nantwich the lead.

He cut in and his powerful effort smashed the near post with Bowles well beaten.

Chances were coming thick and fast for the Dabbers as Stair went close as his shot was well blocked by the Coalville defence.

Walker then had the ball in the net two minutes before the break but the linesman flagged for offside.

The second half began as the first, and Coalville went close to taking the lead.

Parton did well to deny McDonald who had capitalised on a short back pass from Ben Harrison.

But Parton could do nothing five minutes later as the hosts took the lead through Robbins.

He bundled the ball in from close range after Kyle Bryant had squared the ball across the six yard box.

The Dabbers responded well and Andy White was denied by a superb save from Bowles who tipped the defender’s curling effort over the bar with the ball heading for the top corner.

The woodwork was then hit once again, this time by Walker who directed White’s cross towards goal but saw his effort hit the inside of the post and roll into Bowles’ grateful arms.

This was as close as the visitors got to responding.

Coalville sealed the win when they netted a third on 81 minutes through McDonald who fired into the corner of the net.

Substitute Osebi Abadaki had a couple of efforts late on but was unable to test Bowles on either occasion.

Next up for the Dabbers is a trip to Whitby Town next Saturday December 10, 3pm kick off.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
