Willing referees are wanted in Nantwich as a community football league looks to recruit men – and women – in black.
Leisure Leagues, Europe’s biggest and most successful providers of 5 and 6-a-side football, are running courses for budding referees.
The league donates its profits to charities and good causes and has received praise from Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Prince Charles and Boris Johnson for its community efforts.
The firm has been lauded for its treatment of referees.
Now they are looking to recruit more people like Abigail (pictured).
She recently completed an induction course – and secured the best score any referee has in four years of the new style inductions.
“We are running those in the Nantwich area in the next few weeks and we would really appreciate you highlighting this,” said a Leisure Leagues spokesman.
Induction evenings will take place at Reaseheath College in Nantwich over the next few weeks.
