Wrenbury Village Hall will host a concert by popular performer and TV star Bernard Wrigley.
‘An Evening of Songs, Stories and Silliness with The Bolton Bullfrog’ takes place on Saturday October 1.
Wrigley started out in folk clubs, followed by writing and performing at the Octagon Theatre in Bolton.
He has since appeared in TV hit programmes such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Phoenix Nights, Dinnerladies, Brassed Off, and (Steve) Coogan’s Run.
He also starred in many radio plays, as both presenter and guest, and has also released a steady stream of 18 LPs and CDs.
Bernard has also written three books of ‘daft verse’ – Shorts For All Occasions (2006), The Longs and Shorts Of It (2008) and Shorts Forever (2015).

Bar and hot supper provided by The Cotton Arms, will be available.
