A driver was trapped in a car after two vehicles collided on the A51 at Bridgemere near Nantwich.
Fire crews from Audlem and Crewe were called out to the smash on London Road last night (September 16).
They had to cut one casualty free by removing a door and then handed them to paramedics for treatment at the scene.
Cheshire Fire Service was at the scene for 40 minutes. Police had to close the busy route in both directions for around an hour.
The incident happened shortly after 5pm. The cause if being investigated.
