Two men have been charged with the murder of a man in Crewe.

The 51-year-old victim, from Crewe, died on Wednesday (August 31) after suffering stab wounds in the chest.

It happened during an incident in an alleyway off Edleston Road.

Two men and one woman were arrested the following morning.

Oliver Dabbs, 19, of Wood Street, Crewe and Cameron Scragg, 20, of Gresty Road, Crewe have now been charged with murder.

They have been remanded into custody, and will appear at South Cheshire Magistrates Court on Monday September 5 from 9.45am.

A 46-year-old woman who was also arrested has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.

Cheshire Police spokesman said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
