Police are warning residents in Stapeley and Audlem after a number of attempted garage break ins.

Damage was caused to a door on Mottram Drive in Stapeley which happened between 10.30pm on August 4 and 8.30am on August 5.

A similar incident happened on Hillary Drive in Audlem between 6.45pm and 7.15pm on August 5.

Nantwich police are warning householders to check garages and sheds are secure.

Anyone with information contact 101 quoting incident 197 5/8/16 for the Stapeley incident and 1044 5/8/16 for the incident in Audlem.

If you see suspicious vehicles or people call Cheshire Police on 101. If you see a crime in progress always call 999.
