Andy Leach, physio working for TNS in Champions League

Nantwich physiotherapist Andy Leach has been starring in the Champions League.

Andy was just one of only seven First Team physios in the UK to feature in the competition this week.

Andy works for Welsh side The New Saints (TNS), who played the champions of San Marino, SP Tre Penne, in an early qualifying round.

The New Saints won the Welsh Premier League and completed a domestic treble by winning the Welsh League Cup and the Welsh FA Cup.

They made history by becoming the first side ever in Wales to complete the treble two years running.

If successful, TNS will face APOEL Nicosia from Cyprus in the second round, a team that appeared in the quarter finals of the Champions League in 2012.

Andy, who practises in Nantwich from The Lodge Clinic next to Churches Mansion, is in his second year at the club.

He said: “To be associated with football at the highest level in Europe is both challenging and rewarding and provides experience second to none!”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
