co-op store cronkinson farm, stapeley

Bosses of the Co-op store in Stapeley, Nantwich, have applied to expand the shop into empty premises next door.

The shop, on the Cronkinson Farm estate off Pear Tree Field, has applied to extend into the neighbouring unit, formerly a takeaway.

The application says the plan will help the store expand its licensed area, selling alcohol.

It will also help the supermarket vary the times when alcohol can be sold.

They want to change it from Sunday 10am-10.30pm to 8am-10.30pm and to “remove the embedded conditions restricting the sale of alcohol”.

Licensable activity is the supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises.

In all other respects, the licence will remain unchanged.

Anyone wishing to comment on the application should do so in writing before July 19.

They can write to Cheshire East Council, Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, CW1 2BJ.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
