A gang of thieves stole two expensive cars from a pub car park in Wybunbury near Nantwich.

Police say the crooks struck at the Red Lion pub on Main Road in the early hours today (June 19).

It is believed a blue Audi RS5 Estate was used with possibly three or four men on board.

Two vehicles were taken from the pub car park – an Audi A4 Estate and a VW Golf GT.

It is believed the thefts happened between 5.45am and 6am.

Nantwich police say all three vehicles were driven in convoy along Main Road, Wybunbury, heading towards the Shavington area.
