Summer sunshine at the Nantwich Museum Garden Party in 2014

Nantwich Museum is to stage an English country garden afternoon tea event to help raise funds.

Long-time supporters of the museum Mr and Mrs G Emerton are hosting the party at their home Glebe House, on Monks Lane in Acton on Sunday June 26.

Visitors will be able to explore the garden as well as enjoy a selection of refreshments.

There will also be a raffle with prizes.

The garden will be open from 2pm until 5pm.

Tickets are £5 per person and are available from the museum shop.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support the work of the Pillory Street museum which is an independent charity.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
