jekyll and hyde, crewe lyceum

Classic Gothic melodrama comes to life this June at Crewe Lyceum Theatre with Jekyll and Hyde.

The show, which runs from June 13 to 15, stars Neil Roberts (Emmerdale), Gary Turner (Hollyoaks) and Kim Taylforth (Bad Girls).

Dr Henry Jekyll believes there are two distinct sides to man – one good, one evil.

Intent on separating the two, he succeeds in his experiments.

But in doing so he unleashes Hyde, his monstrous and uncontrollable alter-ego.

Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale is adapted by Nicholas Briggs into a new production on tour this spring.

“Jekyll and Hyde is a thrilling start to the summer,” said Lyceum marketing manager Gemma Whalley.

“This new drama production is sure to send shivers down the audience’s spine.”

Neil Roberts is currently starring in ITV soap Emmerdale, playing Det Sgt Wise.

Tickets for Jekyll and Hyde are on sale for Monday 13 – Wednesday 15 June at Crewe Lyceum Theatre.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
