Laburnum Arch Dorothy Clive Garden

Visitors can now see the famous Laburnum Arch in full bloom at the Dorothy Clive Garden near Nantwich.

The glorious golden tunnel is adorned with vibrant yellow pea flowers and under planted with rows of alliums and lonicera balls.

Curator Marcus Chilton-Jones said: “The laburnum Arch – located very near our Winter Garden – comes as a surprise to the visitor as they explore the intimate and informal pathways leading up to it.

“The 25m long tunnel which is covered in the laburnum flowers – commonly known as golden chain – invites the eye towards a tranquil seated area with a sculpted stone seat and bird bath.

“Visitors can relax here and enjoy the tranquillity of the garden.”

Visitors can experience the informal gardens set amid glorious countryside seven days a week, from 10am to 5.30pm.

The garden tearoom, situated in the heart of the garden, is open from 11am to 5pm daily.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
