Nantwich Museum Plant and Book Sale

A Plant and Book Sale organised by Nantwich Museum Trust will take place at the museum in Pillory Street on May 28.

The sale, which will include a wide selection of keenly priced plants and books, will run between 10am and 12.30pm in aid of museum funds.

The museum is also looking for more donations of books or plants for the event.

The venue is also set to run spring and summer children’s workshops during the forthcoming half-term week.

Summer-themed crafts will include weaving and fabric work inspired by the current “Time and Place” exhibition by the Breakaway Textile Group.

It will also be a chance to sow Sunflowers, do quizzes and much more.

All workshops are drop in any time between 11am and 3pm on Wednesday and Thursday June 1 and 2.

Cost is £2 per child, who must be accompanied. Large groups are requested to book in advance.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
