South Cheshire company Your Move has donated £1,000 to Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity’s MRI Scanner Appeal.
April marked the start of a six-month alliance between property firm boss Andrew Nicholson and the charity.
He has pledged to donate £50 after every successful property sale completion, with funds presented to the charity’s MRI Scanner appeal every six months.
Mr Nicholson also supports the appeal by including the MRI Scanner Appeal logo on signage boards at all approved properties listed during the partnership, and in their Crewe branch on Nantwich Road.
Laura Riddle, charity manager, said: “It’s fantastic to receive such a significant donation at this stage of the appeal, and thanks to this generous pledge, we’re close to achieving our target.
“However, we’re not there yet and we still need more companies to get involved to support our appeal for the new MRI Scanner at Leighton Hospital.”
Mr Nicholson added: “As a local estate agent, we believe it’s important to support services that are vital to the wellbeing of our local community.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to make our first donation, and look forward to further involvement with such a brilliant cause.”
Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity launched its £1 million MRI Scanner Appeal to provide an additional MRI scanner at Leighton Hospital in March 2014.
The charity is encouraging more involvement with the appeal in the final months, and can provide help with fundraising ideas, literature and promotion and provide collection buckets and t-shirts.
