Blyth Spartans defeat - daniel gyollai, on loan nantwich town keeper from Stoke City

On loan Nantwich Town keeper Daniel Gyollai has praised the club for making him feel at home just days after arriving.

Hungarian-born Gyollai has joined the Weaver Stadium for the rest of the season from Stoke City.

And he made an impressive debut against Barwell, helping the Dabbers to a 2-1 victory just two days after joining.

Gyollai said: “We have got a great group of lads and they have made me feel very welcome straight away.

“It was easy to settle in and I’m pleased I had a reasonably good game against Barwell.

“It was in tough conditions and we got the job done in the end so we are happy with that.”

Gyollai felt Barwell’s equaliser should have been ruled out for offside but that the wet and windy contidions played their part.

“It was hard because you had the wind and the rain coming straight in your eyes.

“So it was hard to judge. I felt he was just offside but it was hard to see clearly!

“Oh well, we have got to learn from it, and we will get better because of it.

“You can’t choose the weather conditions each time you play and we ground out a fantastic win in the circumstances.”

Max Harrop, making his second debut from the bench, slotted home to seal all three points for the Dabbers.

That was Nantwich’s 117th goal in all competitions – and the following it up 48 hours later with a 1-0 win away at Skelmersdale United.

Elliot Osborne netted from the spot on 73 minutes in the Easter Monday victory, which keeps them in touching distance of the play-offs.

Gyollai has played at the Weaver Stadium before, for Stoke City’s youth team when they used the ground for their matches.

The Hungarian shot stopper holds an unbeaten record at the Weaver Stadium.

He said: “I’ve been here before so it was nice to come back.

“The game I played in here was against Leyton Orient in the FA Youth Cup.

“We won 5-4 on penalties, that was back in the 2013/14 season.

“So it’s two games and two wins for me here at the Weaver Stadium. I’m want to try and keep the run going for a bit.”

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
