The Nantwich Choral Society is performing JS Bach’s “St John Passion” in St Mary’s Church next month.
The performance will take place on Saturday March 19 at 7.30pm.
The society has engaged the leading British tenor, Rogers Covey-Crump, as the narrating Evangelist – a part for which he is internationally renowned.
The show, to be performed in English by the 100-strong Nantwich Choral Society with music director John Naylor, will be accompanied by the fully professional Nantwich Sinfonia led by Alison Loram.
Tickets are £12.50, or £5 for students, and are available from Nantwich Civic Hall.
