Willaston WS and Wistaston Ath both progressed in the Presidents Cup in the Crewe Regional Sunday League.

Willaston ran out 3-2 winners in a tight encounter against AFC Leopard thanks to two goals from Moat, and one from Blundell.

Dave Johnson bagged both goals for AFC Leopard.

Wistaston Ath had a slightly more comfortable passage to the next round with a 4-0 win over Audlem with Ryan Broadhurst and Leo Davies both netting twice.

Rising Sun also progressed to the next round with a 3-2 win over Leighton FC, Damien Sloan, Ciaran Rodway and Curtis Rodgers scoring for Rising Sun with Danny Rogerson scoring both goals for Leighton FC.

In the Premier Division, Leaders Square One won 4-1 against AFC Barkode with Hill, Blundell, Chesters and Nurton scoring, Vinny Sherratt scored for AFC Barkode.

Crewe Ath kept up the pressure at the top with a 4-2 win at Sydney Arms to a PJ Hudson hat trick with Mal Bostock also scoring.

Rory Saunders and Charlie Maines replied for Sydney.

NHB and Salvador drew 2-2 with Dan Ball and Archie McGregor scoring for NHB and Niven Bailey and Kevin Sharp replying for Salvador.

In Division One, 12 of the 14 players used by Betley FC scored in a 20-goal scoring spree against Market Tavern!

Their scorers were Pete Williams 4, Jamie Baker 3, Tom Halligan 2, Mike Murisa 2, Brandon Grindley 2, Harry Ashworth 2, Spencer Lightfoot, Chris Evans, Coby Bateman, Elliott Bradley and keeper Charlie Crouch.

Ocean FC returned to winning ways with a 6-2 win at Sandbach Town Ryan Kennedy and Steve Lloyd both scored twice with further goals from Mark Parker and Paul Ashley. Ollie Dunning and David Duckworth scored for Sandbach Town.

Nantwich YF and Bank Corner shared 6 goals in a 3-3 draw with Jake Standeven netting a hat trick for Nantwich YF and Jordan Southwell 2 and Sam Mason replying.

Haslington FC (Will Moors, Vinny Mackwell, Kyle Mahoney, Tom Kural) beat Boot & Shoe Villa (Ryan Briddon, Ashley Scoffin OG0 4-2.
