Oxfam shop in Nantwich - bird book donation

Staff at a charity shop in Nantwich are getting in a flap – over a donation of 100 bird books!

Volunteers were stunned when a single donor winged in to the Oxfam Bookshop on Pepper Street.

Staff have worked overtime to create a display of about 100 “very good quality” books on birds.

Shop manager Val Richards said some of the books “are quite rare” and vary in price, from £1.99 to £35.

“The timing is great as this coincides with the “Big Garden Birdwatch 2016” event taking place on January 30!” added Val.

So any twitchers interested can visit the shop, 21 Pepper Street, to view the display.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
