Police in Nantwich are warning residents to be wary of burglars targeting properties after a break-in at a house in Bishop’s Wood.

Offenders broke in to a residential building and stole bikes (pictured).

The incident happened between 5pm on Saturday (December 19) and 1.40pm today (December 20).

PCSO Stu Mortimer, of Nantwich Police, said: “Nantwich Neighbourhood Policing Unit, has a very low number of domestic/commercial burglaries – on average less than six a month.

“In an effort to ensure this is an isolated incident we ask you to help us avoid any further burglaries by supplying us with any information you may have.

“If you have seen any suspicious vehicles, persons or have any other information, contact us.”

People can call Cheshire Police non emergency number 101 or call into Nantwich Police Station between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
