The heavy rainfall took its toll on the Crewe Regional Sunday League with half the games postponed.

In the Premier Division, there are new leaders as Square One took advantage of the postponements to move above Railway Hotel with a 3-2 win over AFC Leopard.

Newton, Dodd and Blundell scored for Square One with Ledwards and McArdle replying for Leopard.

Leighton FC got their first win of the season lifting them off the bottom of the table with a 2-1 win over Rising Sun.

Dom Latham and Paulo David scored for Leighton with Kenny Davis replying.

Salvador had not beaten Willaston WS for many years, but put that right with a 4-0 win.

Jon Dawson, Luke Forrester, Kev Sharp and Craig Buckley scored for Salvador.

Division One Leaders Wistston Ath opened up an eight-point lead with a 3-1 win over Faddiley.

Steve Pattinson bagged a brace and Ryan Broadhurst added a third. Matt Scott scored a consolation for Faddiley.

Brunel Arms beat Boot & Shoe Villa 4-2 with goals from Danny May, Jay Thomas, Nathan Jones and Ricky Mellor.

Kev Berresford and Gaz Beardsmith netting for Boot & Shoe.

Ben Reddock scored four times as Crewe FC won 6-4 at Audlem, other scorers were Ben Herbert and Louis Everall.

Audlem scorers were Betteley 2, Brown and Connor Jones.
