Blyth FA Cup - Nantwich Town's Weaver Stadium, pre-season games, community football

Nantwich Town have been drawn to play Matlock Town in the FA Trophy 1st round proper.

It follows heroics by the Dabbers who won 2-0 away at Conference North side Stockport County on Saturday in the final qualifying round.

Nantwich found out their next opponents at the draw made at Wembley Stadium this lunchtime (November 30).

Matlock have already made the trip to the Weaver Stadium as the Dabbers drew 2-2 with Matt Bell and Liam Shotton scoring.

The game will be played on December 12, kick off 3pm.

This means Nantwich’s scheduled home league game against Salford City will now be moved to a date to be fixed.
