BBC newsreader Beccy Meehan will be switching on the Nantwich Christmas Lights this year with thousands expected at the event on November 21.
Beccy will join Nantwich Mayor Cllr Andrew Martin and Father Christmas to flick the switch and light up the town square.
The town council has spent thousands organising the event which promises a packed programme running from 2pm, with The Cat Community Radio’s Chris Radford compering the event.
Popular local talent Josh Whittaker will take to the stage to kick off the event, followed by a performance from Frozen’s Elsa and Anna.
Nantwich Young Voices will perform Christmas Carols and lead into a set of popular music from the Runaway Babies.
Then BBC North West’s Beccy, Cllr Martin and Santa will perform the lights switch-on, including those on the Applewood Independent Christmas tree.
The evening will come to a close at around 6.30pm with a musical firework spectacular from Blitz Fireworks.
There will also be food, fairground rides and photo opportunities with Santa’s Rusty Robot, Minions, Frozen’s Elsa and Anna, and Light-Up Moving Trees!
