A four-vehicle smash on the A534 near Nantwich caused traffic chaos today (November 2).
The incident involving two lorries and two cars closed the busy Wrexham Road at Faddiley for several hours.
The accident happened at about 11am close to The Thatch pub.
The Nantwich bound side of the road was closed while Cheshire East Highways cleared mud from the road and vehicles were removed.
Police say no one was injured, but many drivers were caught up in long tailbacks and delays.
The road was re-opened at around 4pm.
