Comic heroes were in Nantwich to help promote the town’s first ever comic-con event, called NANOCON.

Star Wars characters among others stormed the Civic Hall where Nantwich Mayor, Cllr Andrew Martin joined Shadow Trooper, Tusken Raider and Imperial Guard.

Hundreds of sci-fi lovers, tv and movie fans are expected to come through the doors of the Civic Hall event on Saturday November 7.

Organiser Steve Howard said: “This is going to be a fantastic event, with something for everyone.

“Alongside the Garrison, you can also expect to see Super Heroes and tv/movie characters, a life-sized Lightning McQueen car, The Superheroes Iron Man Docking Station, The Terminator Display and get a chance to sit on the Games of Thrones Iron Throne!

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
