Staff, children and parents at a day nursery in Shavington helped raise more than £800 for a hospice.
Rope Green Day Nursery staged a fundraising family fun day at their premises in Shavington in aid of Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.
The event included bouncy castles, tractor rides, raffles, tombolas and children’s games.
Local firms including Whitby Ice Creams, Crewe Alexandra FC, Wychwood Park and Crewe Hall also supported the event.
And Stoke City and England defender Ryan Shawcross even donated a signed pair of football boots for the day.
Nikki Wrench, relationship manager at The Donna Louise, said: “We rely so much on the generosity of our local community.
“We can’t thank Rope Green enough for organising such a wonderful event and raising such an amazing amount for the hospice so that we can continue to support children and their families across Staffordshire and Cheshire who use our services.”
