adam bloom, very best in stand up, nantwich

The hilarious Adam Bloom is the headline act when Very Best in Stand Up returns for a new season to Nantwich Civic Hall.

Bloom played Nantwich two years ago and delivered a memorable set of comedy, as reviewed by Nantwichnews.

Now Civic Comedy promoters have lured him back to perform at the launch of a new season of stand up.

Bloom (pictured) is a veteran of the comedy circuit, and 2015 marks his 21st year in stand up.

He has appeared on TV shows including “Mock The Week”, “Never Mind The Buzzcocks” and “Just For Laughs” when he was invited to play the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival.

The opening show, on Friday September 4, also delivers three other top acts.

First act is Mancunian Steve Shanyaski, whose inherent warmth and roguish twinkle shines through his material, elevating him to another level as a performer.

He was crowned Holsten Pils Comedian of the Year and guested on ITV’s “Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks”.

Also on stage will be musician Andy Robinson.

He played with 90s band The Carpetsweepers before moving into comedy and injecting fantastic humour into his songs.

He has supported Sean Lock, Rich Hall and Paddy McGuiness among others.

He is also comedy legend Jo Brand’s regular support act, and has worked with her for the past ten years.

The compere for the night is Sam Avery, another who turned to comedy when his music career stalled!

A regular at top comedy clubs up and down the country, Avery will oversee the evening’s proceedings.

Tickets are on sale priced at £10, available from Nantwich Civic Hall or from the SeeTickets link via www.civiccomedy.co.uk

A limited number of table reservations are available to groups of six or more on a first come, first basis.

Doors open at 7.15pm and the show starts at 8.15pm.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
