Millfields pupils at Town Sports

Thousands of pupils and parents gathered at the Barony Park in Nantwich for another successful Town Sports event.

More than 30 primary schools across Crewe and Nantwich took part in the competition, now one of the highlights on the yearly calendar.

Organised by Crewe and Nantwich School Sports Partnership (CNSSP), it sees 10 schools in three groups competing in field and track events over two days.

On Monday, Cumberland athletics arena hosted the field events as youngsters from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 from the schools competed in jumping and throwing events.

And on Wednesday (June 24), Barony Park hosted the running competition as youngsters competed in hurdles, bean bag races, and finally the popular relay races.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
