Well-known gorilla conservationist Ian Redmond OBE will be in Nantwich next week to give a talk at Reaseheath.

Ian is guest of the Reaseheath Conservation Society which is staging the event to help raise funds for Gorilla Conservation.

The conservation biologist will talking about his experiences, particular with gorillas, when he appears at the college on Thursday June 25, 7pm.

Redmond’s career spans more than 30 years and is renowned for his work with gorillas and elephants.

He is best known for his work with mountain gorillas, and has been involved in more than 50 documentaries for BBC, National Geographic and the Discovery Channel.

He was also involved in the film “Gorillas In The Mist”, spending some time with Sigourney Weaver so she could better understand her character.
