Top comedians Jimmy Carr and Sarah Millican are coming to Crewe Lyceum – and will be on-sale in the next two weeks.
Millican and Carr have both been booked at the Lyceum Theatre later in 2015 as part of their UK tours.
Jimmy Carr brings his new tour Funny Business to the Lyceum on Sunday August 16 at 8pm, followed by Sarah Millican on Thursday October 22 at 8pm with her new stand-up show Outsider.
“The Lyceum’s audience expects fantastic comedy and the announcement of tour stops for both Jimmy and Sarah are sure to be well-received,” said theatre director Gordon Millar.
“Demand for both shows will be extremely high and we would therefore recommend fans of the comedians purchase tickets online in this instance.”
Jimmy Carr has hosted the third series of 10 O’Clock Live, the 15th series of 8 Out of 10 Cats and special episodes of Big Fat Quiz and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
But live comedy is what he does best. His stand-up achievements include a British Comedy Award for ‘Best Live Stand-Up Tour’ and a Perrier Award nomination.
Sarah Millican has established herself as a household name since her award winning 2008 debut.
She’s been BAFTA nominated in 2013 and 2014 and her DVD, Chatterbox Live, became the biggest selling stand-up DVD by a female comedian of all time.
Sarah has notched up appearances on shows including QI, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and has chatted to Graham Norton, Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr on chat shows.
Sarah Millican is on pre-sale to Friends of the Lyceum at 9am on Thursday March 26, with general sale from 9am Friday March 27.
Jimmy Carr is on pre-sale to Friends of the Lyceum on Wednesday April 1 at 9am, with general sale from 9am on Thursday April 2.
