Nantwich Mayor Christine Farrall joined the Rotary Club of Nantwich to celebrate its 81st anniversary.
More than 130 Rotarians and guests attended the celebration at Nantwich Town FC.
Guests and local dignitaries also attended as the club reflected on 81 years since it was formed.
President Tony Coxhill said: “This was a record turnout, the attendance by club members and their partners and guests was fantastic.
“We were thrilled to have Mayor Christine Farrall and her husband David join us.
“They have become staunch supporters of our club, which is very much valued by us all.”
Guest speaker Professor Allan Jones, former managing director for Eon UK, delivered a talk about the energy industry.
Current district governor Les Wilson and future district governor Chris Sumner were in attendance.
