exhibition half term Nantwich Museum, flagday, stages First World War talks

Nantwich Museum has received a £1,000 funding boost from a local supermarket.

The Pillory Street venue received the money from Waitrose, in Sandbach, under the store’s Community Matters Scheme.

Shoppers at the store use tokens to nominate a number of local charities and each month £1,000 is distributed.

Since the Community Matters Scheme was introduced in 2008, £14 million has been been donated to charities chosen by customers.

Nantwich Museum is an independent charitable trust run by its members and a small staff.

Admission is free.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
