Todd Miller Live

Todd Miller and Joe Loss Orchestra return to Nantwich this month to perform at the Mayor’s Charity Dance event.

The group, who have entertained at Royal Weddings, Command Performances and at Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, and on the QE2, will be at Nantwich Civic Hall on March 27.

The orchestra is now Britain’s longest running live entertainment company.

Nantwich Town Cllr Arthur Moran has organised the dance, held in aid of the Mayor’s chosen charities Nantwich Museum, Nantwich Players and Nantwich in Bloom.

He said: “I and my late wife Margaret before she passed way have been working with Todd for over 25 years to bring the orchestra to Nantwich and to raise thousands of pounds for various local charities.

“Each time, the dance and the audience gets better and better and fans come from far and wide to have great night out.

“It’s not every day a band appeals to an age range from nine to 90.

“And it’s not often that performers are bang up to date at the same time as they bring nostalgic memories to thousands of people.

“The Joe Loss Orchestra manages to do all that and is perfect for the Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Come Dancing generation, as well as those who recall the classic tunes of the 50s and 60s.”

The dance is from 8pm-12.30am on Friday March 27.

Admission is £15 and tickets can be bought from the Civic Hall by calling 01270 628633 or visit www.nantwichtowncouncil.gov.uk

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
