Crewe & Nantwich RUFC continue their chase for a promotion spot when they welcome Kenilworth to the Vagrants.

The Midlands 1 West clash could be crucial as Andy Brown’s men look to cement their challenge for second place.

Crewe are still licking their wounds after a narrow 15-3 defeat away at second-placed Hereford in their last game on February 7.

It was their first defeat after a run of four consecutive victories.

But they remain only 10 points behind Hereford, and with a 100% home record this season should be confident they can defeat sixth-placed Kenilworth on Saturday (February 21).

Director of rugby Andy Brown (pictured) said: “Kenilworth were narrow victors in the away fixture in November but we are still chasing the second promotion spot and intend to put on a great performance.”

Kick off at the Vagrants in Willaston is 2.15pm.

On Wednesday February 25, Crewe & Nantwich celebrate the opening of their new floodlights with a game between Crewe & Nantwich Colts v Reaseheath College, kick off 7pm.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
