kidz kitchen involved in science week

Nantwich-based Kidz Kitchen and Rotary Clubs from Crewe and Nantwich are joining forces in national Science Week.

Local Rotarian from Nantwich Tom Protheroe has gathered a team to pass on their knowledge to inspire local youngsters.

Kidz Kitchen will be visiting local schools to teach the “science” behind cooking.

They will be using everyday ingredients including flour, eggs, milk, baking powder, vinegar and cream.

Kidz Kitchen will combine science and cooking to show that learning scientific principles can be fun.

Tracey Cooke, of Wybunbury and founder of Kidz Kitchen, said: “We are thrilled to be part of National Science week again this year.

“We always make cooking healthy and fun, but these workshops help to show cooking in the broader curriculum.”

National Science Week takes place from March 13 to 22.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
