A new Nantwich Town Ladies football team has been launched as the Weaver Stadium outfit continues to expand.
Now club bosses are appealing for more players so they can compete in the Cheshire women`s and youth football league for 2015/16 season.
Team manager Jonathan Swift said: “We have players from Crewe and Nantwich, but we’re looking for players of any age of 18 years old and above, from the Nantwich and surrounding areas as not to travel too far.”
However, the deadline for league sign up is fast approaching for the new season if Nantwich is to enter the Cheshire women`s league for 2015/16.
