The top two in the Crewe Regional Sunday Premier League warmed up for their clash next week with victories.

Leaders Railway Hotel (pictured) won 6-0 at Talbot with a brace from Lee Mellor 2, and goals from Jez Tagg, Matt Cope, Tom Finch and Wes Newton.

FC Semtex beat AFC Barkode 4-1 with goals from Broomhall, Lewis, Roberts and Mellor. Bennett replied for AFC Barkode.

In Division One, Leighton moved back to the top with a 4-2 win at Santa Maria thanks to goals from Gaz Blackshaw (2), Danny Rogerson and Tom Wood.

Adi Socha and Ben Reddock replied for Santa Maria.

Previous leaders Faddiley went down 4-1 to Boot & Shoe Villa whose scorers were Ben Snee, Ryan Bridden, Gavin Lloyd and Ethan Roberts. Joey Hylton replied for Faddiley.

Wistaston Ath returned to winning ways with a 4-1 win at Haslington, having been behind at half time to a Jordan Prince goal.

Wistaston scorers in the second half were Jake Maunder, Ryan Broadhurst, Leo Davies and Graham Wrench.

All other games were victims of the freezing weather conditions.
