Sainsbury's store charity bag pack collection

A team of volunteers held a bag pack at a Nantwich supermarket to raise more than £1,300.

The charity event at Nantwich Sainsbury’s on Middlewich Road raised a total of £1,389.

Volunteers both young and old teamed up for the event which was in aid of the Wingate Centre, based in Wrenbury.

The centre, the store’s Charity of the Year, is devoted to enriching the lives of children and young adults with physical and learning disability or who are disadvantaged.

It is a specialist short break residential centre for special needs schools, voluntary groups and for family support groups.

Throughout the year, staff at Sainsbury’s have held fundraising activities to help boost funds for the Wingate Centre.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
