More than 120 people enjoyed a night of live music from The Co-Operative Funeralcare Band as they played rousing music at The Richmond Nantwich Summer Proms.

From a Russian Cossack Dance, to the theme from The Muppets, and Jerusalem to the latest James Bond track “Skyfall” and favourites like “we’ll meet again”, the event was hailed a resounding success.

The final piece, Pomp and Circumstance, was timed to start and finish to a display of fireworks that lit up the sky courtesy of sponsorship from The Andrew Connelly Practice and Blitz Fireworks.

Everyone was up and singing, waving flags and shouting for more.

With a solo performance in between sets by Saxophonist Susan Walker, and food on offer, the evening was declared “outstanding” by all who came.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
