Residents in Nantwich were warned today after burglars were caught trying to break into a house.

Suspects were seen trying to force their way in through patio doors of a property on Cheerbrook Road in Willaston, Nantwich.

They were disturbed and fled the scene at about 10pm last night (Monday September 29).

It’s believed the house was unoccupied and they were seen by neighbours who called the police.

Officers from Nantwich and Crewe were assisted by police air support helicopter in a search for the suspects in nearby fields, but no one was caught.

Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances around the burglary and invite any witnesses to contact Crewe CID on 101 quoting incident 936 of 29 September.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
