Tastebud Cafe at Stapeley House in Nantwich

An award-winning Nantwich caterer is set to unveil her new cafe.

Helen Gregory will be serving up treats at her new Tastebud Cafe in the grade II listed Stapeley House, on London Road.

It is the latest expansion of Helen’s successful outside catering company Scrumptillious, which she launched just six years ago.

The mother-of-two, who lives in Nantwich, says the cafe is the next “natural step” for her business.

She said: “All our meals, cakes and treats are baked in-house, using only top quality ingredients from producers in and around Cheshire.

“This ensures we serve up the very tastiest food.”

And the cafe will not only cater for lunches, as it will open at 7.30am so employees can enjoy a breakfast on their way to work.

“We’ll be open from 7.30am every day serving hearty breakfasts to eat in or take away,” she added.

“We will then be offering homemade hot and cold meals throughout the day.”

Tastebud’s menu boasts coffee roasts, loose leaf teas and freshly baked cakes, as well as savoury platters, sandwiches and paninis.

The café is also licensed to sell alcohol and will have a range of selected wines, ciders, beers and real ale, as well as some more unusual cordials and mocktails.

There is free parking, free Wi-fi, and a range of gifts to buy.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
