A South Cheshire travel firm has been shortlisted in the much-coveted regional Business of the Year Awards.

Crewe Hall-based The Travel Visa Company will attend a glittering gala awards ceremony at Chester Cathedral on October 3.

It crowns a great year for the company which has achieved record-breaking trading results and overall business expansion.

The business, which employs 16 people at its base in Crewe, has undergone major restructuring, scooping 15 new accounts in the corporate division.

They have also retained long-standing partnerships with big travel brands like TUI, Thomas Cook and The Co-operative Travel.

It is also now the preferred visa supplier for business and tourist flights from Birmingham Airport.
